PASSWORD To God's Heart.

God is our Father and as reasonable children we ought to seek to be in His presence and good books.

How can we continually live in harmony with God?

Praise: Is the
expression one's respect and gratitude toward God. God does not joke with praise. He will not share his glory with anyone. If we are to continue to please Him, we must continue to praise Him. When you praise God, do it with all your heart. Give all the glory to God in praises.

Adoration: Is the expression of love or admiration towards God. Adoration is a deep feeling of love, you just love Him regardless of whether what you are passing through is favourable or not.

Singing: There is no doubt that God loves music. Can you image what gathering of believers would be like if we didn't sing? If we are truly desirous of the presence of God, a rich blend of spiritual songs must never be far from our lips.

Service: God is interested in what you can do for Him. It is falsehood to say we can not do anything for God. God expects us to preach the gospel, support the ministry, help our fellowmen and do all that He wants to do in the physical world. God expects us to be available for service. If you don't have time to serve God, you are not ready for His presence.

Word: We cannot do anything without the word of God. If you are still far from your Bible you are still far from God. God created everything by His word and His word never fails. Your relationship with God will only thrive if you are enriched with His word.

Obedience: There is no price for Bible scholars if they do not obey the word. People commit sin today not because they do not know the word but because they do not obey the word. The ultimate proof of your love for God is your obedience to His word.

Reverence: Is deep respect for God, better put, Fear of God. In the old testament days people were weary of God because He was expressly the consuming fire. He is still the consuming fire today but with much grace. However, grace is not a license to sin, it is a license to love. Do you fear God? Or do you take His grace for granted?

Diligence: Even faith without works is dead, what then can be our excuse against hard work. God is not a friend to lazy people. You cannot say you are child of God and so will not do anything profitable. Wake up! God calls us to work out our breakthrough under the watchful eyes of His abundance.

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU COUNT MONEY?

Recently, I had to make a lot of cash lodgments at the bank, and I proceeded to arrange and count the notes. I counted the various currency notes like three times and sorted them accordingly. When I got to the bank, the teller went to work, and I wasn’t surprised that the count was perfectly correct. The confidence was because I had double-checked the notes; the margin for error was very slim. In our Christian walk, we mustn’t be overly bold about our right standing in Christ if we haven’t examined ourselves again and again. 2 Cor. 13:5b says, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves…” Test yourself! Are you standing, or are you just thinking that you are standing? When I counted the money the first time, I could have stopped, but I needed the certainty. I know that I am born again, but I need to examine my heart: is there something hidden there that shouldn’t be there? Once, I was speaking to a group of people, and the manner of my speech wasn’t in confo...

IF WE MUST BOAST

If we must boast, let us boast of the mercies of the LORD. Two students attend lectures and put in the same level of preparation; one scores an “A” and the other a “C”. Many explanations can be available, but when we hold all other things constant, mercy is the difference between men. I have written an exam before where I prepared diligently but got into the exam hall and misinterpreted the questions, writing the exact opposite of what was expected. After the exam, I had only one prayer: God, have mercy! In Acts 13, Paul and some other prophets separated themselves to fast and pray. Mercy spoke, and Paul and Barnabas were called into a special assignment. Were they better or more diligent than the others who were not called into that particular assignment? I don’t think so. Apostle Paul later told us that everything he did was a result of the grace of God. God’s mercy and grace are what enable us to achieve any kind of result in life. Let’s be careful how we think. Let’s be careful how...

3 Reasons Why You Need Jesus

1. There is an afterlife. Even people that do not believe in God have an unspoken assurance within them that there is an afterlife. In the afterlife there are two destinations, good (heaven) and bad (hell). Jesus is the ONLY way to the good part. 2. There is  war in this life. Everyone is at war! War within, war without, war amongst, war everywhere. The enemy (devil) that we wrestle knows he has limited time to wreck his havoc. Our enemy is relentless and brutal, he has no respect for positions and titles, he works wickedness everyday. The only name he fears is JESUS, you need Jesus to win every war, have rest, peace and lasting victory. 3. Spiritual Fulfilment. Human beings are mere branches to the Tree (God). No matter how hard we try to satisfy ourselves with other things, there is a deep ache in our hearts if we don't have a relationship with God. Jesus is the only fulfilling link to the Father. Jesus is our spiritual lifeblood. If we are ever going shed the spi...
