2025: A LANDMARK YEAR

Happy New Year!

Welcome to a Landmark Year.

By prophecy, by decree, and by the WORD OF GOD, this year is a landmark year.

Get set to have landmark encounters with the LORD. There shall be landmark testimonies in our walk with the LORD and in the results that will show forth in our lives as a result of Christ in us.

The promise of God is to reveal His mysteries to the world through us. We are engraced to carry hope, salvation, strength, and glory to the world. Colossians 1:27 says, "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

This year, Christ will be revealed in us and shine to all the world.

It’s pulpit rotation Sunday. The guest minister mounted the podium as the church stood with a resounding applause. From the fifth row where he was Oke noticed the deep tribal lines on Pastor Obayemi’s cheeks, and his missing tooth was revealed as he led a worship song. “Oh! After the death of Joshua and the elders of his generation, the children of Israel forgot the wonders, power and love of the Almighty God. They forsook the Living God and worshipped stone dead gods like the nations around them. They got into the anger book of God and were open to attacks by the enemy. They were sorely oppressed and they cried out. God remembered His promise and love towards Israel and He gave them JUDGES to deliver them out of oppression and to lead them back to righteousness. Thus began the era of the judges. Season after season the people returned to sin and God remained faithful in giving them judges. Years passed and the mantle of leadership fell on a prophet - Samuel. Samuel had a good reputation with God and the people. He judged the people in righteousness and wisdom. His tenure saw the Philistines subdued and cities restored to the Israelites. Mistaken Identity

Nothing hurts more than when people take you to be something negative which you are not. If not handled properly it can dry the oil of motivation. Joseph had a DREAM but his brothers mistook him for a DREAMER. They said to one another, "...Behold, this dreamer cometh." (Genesis 37:19) Having a dream is NOT the same as being a dreamer. A dream is an appointment with destiny. A person who has a dream has an appointment that must be fulfilled. A dreamer is a person whose ideas and plans are not practical or based in reality. A dreamer is a joker. He talks about things he has no passion nor commitment to carry out. Joseph's brothers thought he was a dreamer. They were blinded by envy and driven by rage. They mistook their saviour for a serpent and tried to kill him, but God delivered Joseph out of their hands.
