Let's Not Eat Ourselves

I am surprised many Christians are still downplaying the faith of other Christians particularly those who don't belong to their denominations. This is not right.

Denomination is not a criteria to get to heaven. We must realise that we are incomplete without one another; there are diversities of ministries but the same God that profits in us. We need each other.

If any of the brethren has derailed, let us restore them to the Lord in love not taking pride in the fall of a fellow believer. Some speak of the faults of others in self righteousness; this is wrong.

An injury to one is an injury to all. We shouldn't rejoice in downfall of others rather we should tremble before God and pray His mercy that they be restored, and that we stand till the end.

The church is a body not a denomination. Let's not eat one another!

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU COUNT MONEY?

Recently, I had to make a lot of cash lodgments at the bank, and I proceeded to arrange and count the notes. I counted the various currency notes like three times and sorted them accordingly. When I got to the bank, the teller went to work, and I wasn’t surprised that the count was perfectly correct. The confidence was because I had double-checked the notes; the margin for error was very slim. IF WE MUST BOAST

If we must boast, let us boast of the mercies of the LORD. Two students attend lectures and put in the same level of preparation; one scores an “A” and the other a “C”. Many explanations can be available, but when we hold all other things constant, mercy is the difference between men. I have written an exam before where I prepared diligently but got into the exam hall and misinterpreted the questions, writing the exact opposite of what was expected. After the exam, I had only one prayer: God, have mercy! In Acts 13, Paul and some other prophets separated themselves to fast and pray. Mercy spoke, and Paul and Barnabas were called into a special assignment. Were they better or more diligent than the others who were not called into that particular assignment? I don’t think so. Sink the Ego, Say the Sorry

Have you wronged someone and are fighting within you to say that you are sorry? Have you bruised someone? Or have you done nothing wrong and someone is annoyed with you? Just say sorry. The Bible says "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed..." - James 5:16. Our words carry healing virtue we should use it right. Is it possible not to bite your tongue? It is usually a kind of reflex, beyond control. That's the reality of human relations, no matter how careful we are, sometimes we step on one another's toes. When this happens our reaction shows the quality of our character. Saying that you are sorry goes a long way in sustaining healthy relationships.
