APPOINTED TIME: Waiting on God?

A rational human being desires to do great things within the limited time given to all of us on earth. There is so much joy in accomplishment that it can make any man forget the sorrows of the past. But what happens when man's desire is delayed? Pain comes, terrible pain that sometimes is unbearable.

It is not the joy of God to withhold any good from His children. No matter how much we love ourselves, God loves us more. As much as we desire good for ourselves God does so even more. It grieves the mind of God to see His children cry out under the yoke of under accomplishment. He created us for EXPLOITS not to be exploited.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:9-11 "Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!…"

Delay is not the plan of God for man's life. God never delays. Our God is a good God, He will never give us the serpent of delay. Even mortal men give good gifts to their children how much more will our Father give us good gifts.

BUT THERE IS AN APPOINTED TIME...

 God never makes mistakes. He knows when to make His move. Brethren, there is an appouinted time!

The fact that we are waiting on God doesnot mean that we are delayed. In Acts 2, the Holy Ghost came down on the 10th day after the ascension of Christ. The disciples were waiting not delayed. Jesus is coming soon but this is 2000 plus years of waiting, yet He is not delayed. There is an appointed time!

Believers need to seek the face of the LORD not His hand. When you seek His hand your waiting period will be in the dark, filled with anxeity and perceived delay. However, when you seek His face, you see through His eyes. And understanding of His word in Jeremiah 29:11 comes alive.

Do blaspheme God because you are in the waiting room, rather seek His face for comfort and guidance to come out with a testimony.

MAKE THIS CONFESSION:

"I am a precious child of God. God has good plans for me. Though I walk through this waiting period I am not disturbed because He is with me. I am coming out vitorious. Thank You Jesus."

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU COUNT MONEY?

Recently, I had to make a lot of cash lodgments at the bank, and I proceeded to arrange and count the notes. I counted the various currency notes like three times and sorted them accordingly. When I got to the bank, the teller went to work, and I wasn’t surprised that the count was perfectly correct. The confidence was because I had double-checked the notes; the margin for error was very slim. In our Christian walk, we mustn’t be overly bold about our right standing in Christ if we haven’t examined ourselves again and again. 2 Cor. 13:5b says, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Happy New Year! Welcome to a Landmark Year. By prophecy, by decree, and by the WORD OF GOD, this year is a landmark year. Get set to have landmark encounters with the LORD. There shall be landmark testimonies in our walk with the LORD and in the results that will show forth in our lives as a result of Christ in us.
